St. Gertrude’s prayer, said to release 1000 souls each time it is prayed, is now gaining more prominence nationwide. The PHILIPPINE BROADCASTING SERVICE, with 33 stations nationwide, is now featuring the prayer of St. Gertrude (in Pilipino), every 8:00am and 8:00pm, over:

These three major stations for Metro Manila are the lead stations from which 30 other substations all over the country hook-up to provide the prayer on a nationwide basis.

The "voice-over" was provided by Mr. Rafael Dante Cruz, Director IV, of the Philippine Broadcasting Service.

The background music is the organ music entitled "Silayan", which is the theme song in "Ala-Alang Walang Hangan", the PWHS radio program over Radio Veritas. Pianist is Sonny Boy Bellosillo of the St. Paul’s Contemplative Choir.
