Thank you so much for the heavenly gift you’ve sent us. We will treasure it forever. Thank you so much for everything. You’re "Heaven Sent". You and the Poor souls are always included in our prayer and masses. Anonymous, Quezon City, Metro Manila

I am a regular listener of your radio program "Ala-Alang Walang Hanggan". I am visually impaired for almost 12 years now due to a pituitary tumor. I am turning 27 on April. But even though I undergo this kind of trial, I still hold on to Him Our Lord and Savior to whom I entrusted my life. In my prayers, I always include all the souls in Purgatory and most especially the souls of my departed loved ones. Listening to your program, inspires and enlightened me that people suffering here on earth are still luckier and it is much easier than having an eternal life in purgatory. Now I understand the importance of offering prayers and sacrifices for all the souls. LGDS, Tarlac City, Tarlac

In my daily masses I always ask the poor (or holy) souls to help me to be attentive throughout, particularly during consecration and the Eucharistic prayers so that I could offer them up the prayers and my Holy Communion. More and more I could really sense their friendly help in the daily life. God continue to bless this apostolate! In Jesus and Mary. Sr. Elizabeth Z. Villanueva, FMA, Atwater, CA, USA.

I am really so much thankful for the card you sent me last year and so with the card that you sent me this year. It feels great that you have remembered our birthdays… Hope you will include me in your permanent list as a prayer warrior. Arcadia C. Lulugan II, San Carlos City, Pangasinan

During my prayer time last night as I read the gospel of the day, I recall what had happened to me in the office as I was quite tense in the morning after I received a call from my boss regarding an error in the Fore & Aft newsletter. The year on the front page was 2001 where it should be 2002. This error is not the only error as there were I think five errors that we noticed after the printing of the newsletter. My boss instructed the printing manger (thru me) to correct the year and that all (almost 3,000 sets of newsletters) must be corrected in time for the mailing schedule on Saturday, March 23, 2002. Tony, the printing manager was absent due to his sick wife that he had to attend to. Honestly, we, the whole staff were rattled the whole day as we were finding ways on what to do to correct the error. We only calmed down around 4:00pm in the afternoon. Thank God! As I prayed in the evening, God is so good that He spoke to me in this way: "You may not be able to perfect your newsletter and there are some members who may notice the errors but I want you to know that in the eyes of many fortunate members of PWHS, in the eyes of the poor souls, and of the saints and angels, and My eyes your Fore & Aft newsletter is perfect, holy, and awesome." A couple of months ago, I wrote
to the Association of the Holy souls in Purgatory based in Lisbon (or Fatima),
Portugal to enroll myself in the association. Instead of enrolling me, the good
Prioress instructed me to write you. She said that you can help me Ma’am to
enroll in the Association of the Holy Souls here in the Philippines. I like to
join the association to offer my little financial support (or whatever I can
give) in carrying on its noble purpose – to help release suffering souls in
purgatory through prayers and good works. Please let me know the requirements I
will have to comply
with. I will be happy to do it. Manuel Tabucol Jr.,
Tupa, Bolinao, Pangasinan

Thank you so much for thinking of us through the bulletins you regularly send us. It is full of good teaching and a great inspiration for all. It was a joy to know that all the Bishops in the Philippines and priests of the Archdiocese of Manila get a copy of your newsletter. In a way it is a beautiful "catechism" on Purgatory and many other teachings of our Catholic Faith which all of us – clergy, religious and lay people can learn and benefit from – so, again persevere in this very good apostolate. There will be trials and difficulties of course, as every authentic Christian undertaking is subject to but never be distressed or discouraged for God and our dearest Mama Mary are with you always in a very special way. Be very humble at all times and let charity for God and for all be the only motive and end of all your undertakings. Irmã Marija from Lisbon, Portugal

Peace be with you!, I am from Iloilo Doctors’ College. I have been a member of PWHS; through reading your magazine I learned a lot about something, which I have not known before. I hope that GOD will strengthen your congregation through helping others not only through prayers but also to some other way of treatment. Elidon C. Diaz (e-mail), Molo, Iloilo City

Just wanted to let you know that I received that package of "goodies" that you mailed over. Have not yet gone through all the materials, but they do look very interesting. Keep up your good work with the PWHS. The world and country need people like you. Vicky Yu (e-mail),

Thank you very much for everything you sent me. It is only now that I found time to write you although I’ve been praying for the holy souls ever since I got hold of a copy of "Read Me or Rue It", which I got thru the Spirit of Love Catholic Charismatic Community. Becoming a prayer warrior for the holy souls has indeed added a great courage for me to fight through all the obstacles of life. Not to sound overacting tough, I have been very enthusiastic to recruit people who would like to gain the same privileges that I have been enjoying. So please send me some more referral forms. Carmencita A. Abejar, Sampaloc, Manila
