Sr. Maria of the Eucharist, a native of Palermo, Sicily, is the new Mother Prioress of the MONASTERY PIUS XII. The ASSOCIATION of the HOLY SOULS (AHS) is under the care of the Monastery PIUS XII, and recognizes the PRAYER WARRIORS OF THE HOLY SOULS as the apostolate in the Philippines that shares the objectives of the AHS.

Sr. Maria of the Eucharist will serve as prioress for the next three years, and replaces the former prioress, Sr. Mary Diane, who had been very supportive of the PWHS. During her tenure as Prioress, Sr. Mary Diane would endorse the PWHS to Filipinos and other foreigners who would write to AHS, desiring to be members of an organization involved in praying for the holy souls. Sr. Maria has assured the PWHS that it will continue with this practice. (see her letter in Excerpts ED.).

The Monastery Pius XII is a community of Dominican nuns who are referred to as "Missionaries of the AVE", as they also propagate the praying of the rosary through the PERPETUAL ROSARY ASSOCIATION.
