This is the vigil slogan that came out in the recently concluded contest encouraging PWHS members to submit a catchy slogan. This was in connection with the campaign to have round-the-clock prayer for the holy souls in front of the Blessed Sacrament.
The slogan is actually a combination of phrases extracted from two separate suggestions from two persons. These two persons prefer not to be identified as they submitted their suggestions not as entries to the contest, but as a way of helping out in the campaign. What came out was a play of words, and the result is an appropriate slogan: spend an hour in front of the Blessed Sacrament, praying for the holy souls, and with God’s tremendous love and mercy, one may expect that some souls will be welcomed by God’s embrace. Hence, "An Hour of Grace, then God’s Embrace…"
