THE MINOR BASILICA of the Black Nazarene will once more be the venue of the MASS in commemoration of the FAITHFUL DEPARTED on Wednesday, November 2, 2005 located in the heart of Quiapo, Manila, this event will start at 9:45 a.m. with the launching of the 9-day novena prayers for the holy souls. It will then be followed at 10:00 a.m. by a concelebrated mass to be led by Msgr. Josefino S. Ramirez, Vicar General of the Archdiocese of Manila, with Fr. Jojo Zerrudo, Spiritual Director of PWHS, and other priests.

The event will be covered by the National Broadcasting Network on TV and by RADIO VERITAS.

The 9-day novena prayers will be aired by RADIO VERITAS from Nov. 2 to Nov. 10 at 5:45pm.

This will be the 6th year that PWHS has spearheaded this activity that had its beginnings in November 2, 2000 at the Villa San Miguel with His Eminence Jaime Cardinal Sin as the main celebrant in a concelebrated mass.

Last year, the November 2 mass was held at the Minor Basilica of the Black Nazarene which was jam-packed with people.
