RECOLLECTIONS ARE usually identified with a spiritual theme. Deviating somewhat from the usual expectations of its members, Fr. Jojo Zerrudo, the Spiritual Director of PWHS had a brilliant idea. He said: "Why not invite Mr. Alex Lacson to expound on his book, 12 LITTLE THINGS EVERY FILIPINO CAN DO TO HELP OUR COUNTRY?"

Readers of "Fore and Aft" (April-June ’06) will remember that Alexander Ledesma Lacson was featured in its pages. "12 Little Things Every Filipino Can Do to Help Our Country", as contained in a book he had written with the same title, was shared with the readers. Going a step further, these "12 Little Things…….." now form part of the 3-in-1 stampita that is being distributed by PWHS. It has the prayer of St. Gertrude on the front and the "12 Little 

Things….." itemized at the back. The basic contact numbers and address of the PWHS is indicated on the stampita, which is cut into a calling card size, too.

Alex Lacson, author of this best-selling book, has kindly accepted the challenge to be the main speaker during the advent recollection and transform the PWHS recollection into a unique activity. He has this to say: "In essence, those 12 little things (every Filipino can do to help our country) are not only small acts of good Christianity, as much as they are also small acts of good humanity." Alex Lacson will be teaming up with his wife Pia Lacson, in this whole day activity.
