Msgr. Josefino S. Ramirez, H.P., Vicar General of the Archdiocese of Manila and Rector of the Minor Basilica and National Shrine of San Lorenzo Ruiz will preside at the mass celebrating the 1st NATIONAL CONGRESS OF THE PRAYER WARRIORS OF THE HOLY SOULS.
The mass will be unique in the sense that the offertory prayers and procession will involve symbolic items like urn, containing names of deceased loved ones of the participants, water, chains, and five white doves, projecting the theme of the CONGRESS, which is "JUBILEE of the HOLY SOULS: FREEDOM of CAPTIVES; PARDON of DEBTS". Incorporated in the mass after Holy Communion is a prayer for the liberation of souls, led by Violette Ramiro and accompanied by the Music Ministry of the St. Paul’s Charismatic Contemplative Community.
The prayer culminates in the unveiling of a relief sculpture in plexiglasses, specially designed by artist Bro. Ton Raymundo, depicting the Prayer Warriors of the Holy Souls, a recently liberated soul in the arms of our Lord, and the community of angels and saints in heaven, headed by our dear Mama Mary.
