PWHS Leads Nationwide

Remembrance of the Faithful Departed

HIS EMINENCE, JAIME L. CARDINAL SIN, in response to the invitation extended by the PRAYER WARRIORS OF THE HOLY SOULS, celebrated the Eucharist last November 2, 2000 at the Villa San Miguel. He was joined by about a dozen other priests in a concelebrated mass to remember the faithful departed during the Great Jubilee Year.

This was quite a historic event for the PWHS as this was the first time that the faithful departed was given the importance of being remembered and prayed for over national television (PTV-4), over Radio Veritas Philippines and Radio Veritas Asia.

The anchor-persons during this activity were Fr. Jojo Zerrudo, Spiritual Director of the PWHS, and Loudette Z. Banson of the Holy Family Crusade.

It is hoped that this will eventually be a regular annual activity of the PWHS.
